About Ettinger Communications
Founded on the simple idea that the medium is not the message, Ettinger Communications has been providing unique interactive marketing services since 1998. Here is some information about the principals.
Stephanie Ettinger
With office and division management experience in small and large companies, in markets ranging from New Orleans to New York, Stephanie's ability to dissect a client's company structure and processes, coupled with her voracious appetite for understanding search engine algorithms, makes for a skill-set that fortifies Ettinger Communications' position in today's tough technology sector.
As lead SEO consultant and primary client contact, Stephanie oversees the development and implementation of clients' search engine marketing plans.
Sean Thomas
Sean Thomas first began working with the Internet in 1994, when as an editor of Futures Industry magazine in Washington, DC he wrote a regular column on financial Web sites. His journalistic interest soon led to hands-on experience when he became Online Projects Manager at the National Restaurant Association in 1996. After moving to California in 1997, Sean worked at Virtual Vineyards before leaving to pursue web production and information architecture as a consultant in 1999.
Since then, Sean has worked on a wide variety of projects, often combining the disciplines of web development, graphic production, information design and writing. His previous clients include Ask Jeeves, Bank of America, Wine.com, Palm Corp. and NOCpulse.
Sean joined Ettinger Communications in December 2002. His invaluable expertise as journalist and project manager, as well as hands-on involvement with large-scale Internet projects have afforded Sean an opportunity to carve out a niche position with EttCom. Sean's duties include market research/analysis and he leads EttCom's technical and development services.
Eric Ettinger
Originally, Eric hails from the world of television broadcasting. After a successful stint in sales, Eric adopted the mission to launch his station, WWL-TV, onto the Web, coding much of the site himself. Eric went on to create one of the most widely respected network affiliate sites, complete with internally designed content management system.
Eric consulted with CBS.com to help create a site that merged local and national content, and also worked with NATPE's Web Committee, helping local television stations transition to the Web. In 1998, Eric left WWL-TV to join his future wife, Stephanie, in founding Ettinger Communications where he serves as client services and marketing manager.
